MBSC Certified Functional Strength & Conditioning Coach Level 1 & 2. NASM Certified Personal Trainer. In the process of obtaining the CSCS from NSCA.
Growing up I was a multi sport athlete. I played hockey, lacrosse, baseball and football. Once I got to highschool, I focused on just hockey and lacrosse. My senior year was just hockey. From there I played one year of junior hockey, before heading to college and playing there - I played 4 years at New England College. As soon as I got to the age where working out and "off-ice" strength and conditioning became part of developing as an athlete, I fell in love with training. I knew that becoming a S&C coach / personal trainer was something I was built for. I thoroughly enjoy being in the gym and training myself, but helping other people achieve their fitness and / or sports performance goals through exercise, is something I am truly passionate about... Personally, I am currently focused on growing my career as a coach & trainer, while also improving as an endurance athlete (marathon running... Trying to break 3 hrs at Boston!!), a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner (Blue Belt currently), and improving my Boxing skill set (hoping to take an amature fight within the next 9-12 months).
From a young age, I always knew that becoming a coach / trainer was what I wanted to do in life. Making that a reality took some time though - For me my turning point came during my lead up to the 2023 Boston Marathon. During my training, I helped a few other people get ready for the race, and fell in love with the coaching process!
For me, I truly feel that my purpose is to help others improve their health through exercise. For the past 6 years I worked in corporate sales, but always knew that coaching & training was where I was meant to be... So I quit my job to pursue my passion! Whether you are a Division 1 college athlete looking to improve your performance on the ice, field, court, ect.. Or a working parent busy with kids, my background and education in training allows me to work with a wide variety of clients. I enjoy the process of helping people improve their fitness, no matter their background or goals!
